The intention behind this work is not only one for aesthetics but to also create an immersive experience that aids self transformation that one can experience from festival and club communities.
Influenced by sacred geometry, optical illusions, and psychedelic culture. The design plays on the Sims green diamonds that appear over active Sims identifying selected characters and their mood.
The lights interact with the sound around them, changing in colour and speed.
The work symbolises the illusion that we need to live out a routine existence and that we the avatar in this matrix are the authors of our lives – it sounds so simple but is easily forgotten. That freedom we all cherish and experience at festivals is something that we can embody in the everyday, if we so choose it to be. It’s not just about what we are doing but how we are seeing, thinking, feeling.
